In January 2010, IBBS launched its series of education leaflets. The first 5 leaflets are available here as freely downloadable pdfs. They cover biodeterioration of wood, stone and paint, and introduce aspects of biodeterioration, biodegradation and bioremediation. The aim of these sheets is to acquaint readers with some of the activities of members of IBBS, and of the amazing abilities of microorganisms to degrade a very wide range of substrates. Each sheet has been produced by an expert in that area, and more sheets will be provided in due course.
