As a member of the Society you receive the following benefits:

• Members can attend our meetings at reduced price including the tri-annual symposium and receive our news letter. Information about the Society meetings are given on the web site and in the news letter. In addition all members receive a subscription to our journal International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation which is published by Elsevier Science Ltd . At present there are 8 issues a year including special issues.
• Members receive news of forthcoming meetings, publications on the subject of biodeterioration, biodegradation and bioremediation.
• Members of the Society have the opportunity to meet fellow scientists from a large number of Institutions world-wide including the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.
• Student Members can attend our meetings at reduced price and receive copies of the news letter. Student members may also receive financial assistance to attend our meetings if they present a paper or a poster. The Society offers a bursary scheme to fund student projects at undergraduate level
